Location Information
JADA is a location-based social networking app. We collect and process:
- Precise Location Data: Real-time GPS coordinates to enable location-based user discovery
- Geohash Data: Encoded location data for efficient proximity matching
- Location History: Cached location data for up to 5 minutes to optimize app performance
Location data is essential to JADA's core functionality of connecting users based on geographic proximity.
Usage Information
We automatically collect certain information about your use of the app:
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers
- App Usage Data: Features accessed, interactions with other users, session duration
- Analytics Data: App performance metrics, crash reports, and usage statistics via Firebase Analytics
Communications Data
When you use JADA's messaging features:
- Messages: Content of messages you send and receive through the app
- Message Metadata: Timestamps, sender/recipient information, read status
Subscription and Payment Data
If you subscribe to JADA Plus or make in-app purchases:
- Subscription Status: Information about your current subscription tier and status
- Subscription Dates: Start date and renewal dates of your subscription
- Purchase Information: Product identifiers and subscription tier selections
- Payment Processing: All payment transactions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card information, billing address, or other financial data.
- RevenueCat Integration: We use RevenueCat as our subscription management platform to validate and manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives your Apple App Store receipt and subscription status.

We store subscription status information (subscription level and dates) in our database to enable Plus features within the app.

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Specifically:
- Account Data: Retained until account deletion
- Location Cache: Automatically cleared after 5 minutes
- Analytics Data: Retained according to Firebase Analytics retention policies (typically 14 months)
- Messages: Retained until deleted by users or account closure
Your Rights and Choices
Account Management

- Update your profile information within the app
- Modify your privacy settings and preferences
- Delete your account and associated data
Location Services
You can control location access through:
- iOS device settings: Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services > JADA
- Disabling location services will limit core app functionality

By using JADA, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries where Firebase/Google Cloud Platform operates.
